DIOGO ALBIERO
post production supervisor
I work in post production for cinema and television as a post production supervisor and editor.
My studies in film and audiovisual in general started during college (Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual - 2011). During this period I had my first contact with post production in which I started to develop my skills in editing, creating narratives as a video editor. Due to the nature of the course, I had a lot of contact with all main audiovisual areas and some adjacent studies in which I had a lot of interest, like videogames. In that context I tried to pursue this universe that I already had a lot of practice. This led to a higher level of study, bringing film and games as a whole, resulting in my Master's Degree one year after my college graduation.
I graduated in Technologies of Intelligence and Digital Design at PUC-SP (2015), continuing my college final project in which I wrote about the relation between narrative and videogames. My master's degree goes through a more dynamic approach of players and how they relate to the construction of game design in videogames.
Meanwhile, I had the opportunity to work in some production companies and create a wide portfolio in post production, not only as an editor, but as a supervisor as well.
Post production supervising requires a great amount of caring and attention to detail in order to understand the necessities of the project, from pre production to its conclusion in post. This side of production, focused on attending the needs of the director and crew and the technical requirements of clients (most of them TV channels), developed throughout my professional career.
Aside to post production supervising, I have my personal projects that goes from movies to games.
